Making
Your Mark II – Building Your Confidence to Lead
This event built on
the success of the first Making Your Mark conference held in November
2004. The aim of the event
was to help delegates develop the personal confidence and skills necessary
to provide effective leadership for their teams and organisations.
The conference created a bridge between formal learning and actual
application.
Extracts
from the keynote presentations were videotaped, edited and encoded
overnight so as to be available for viewing on the client’s web site
from 8am the next morning. This
proved extremely popular and many downloads were noted.

Over 300 delegates attended the SureStart conference,
the theme of which was “Preventing Crisis, Achieving Reform”.
It reflected the need for health and personal social services to anticipate and to be responsive to user needs. The conference examined innovative ways of working being pioneered by Sure Start, both here and in GB, which make it an exemplar of the integrated service delivery model sought by government.
The event brought together planners and practitioners and created a unique forum for debate and the exchange of ideas and information.

"Your flexibility, advice and ability to resolve any problem that presented itself took away a lot of the pressure and your efforts have been greatly appreciated by all of us"
Craig Allen, DHSSPS |

Celebrate and Challenge!
Over 500 delegates attended this two day "Investing for
Health" conference which was promoted jointly by DHSSPS and the Health Promotion
Agency under the Investing for Health banner. The objective was to highlight examples of programmes and projects that contribute to the overall aims of the Investing for Health strategy, and was accompanied by a poster exhibition.
We had full involvement with the project and coordinated the work of the fifteen member planning group to ensure goals were aligned and common objectives achieved.
