International Conferences:
We have delivered many international conference events.  Below we have noted information on just a couple of these to give you an idea of the types of projects we undertake.

Brownfield European Regeneration Initiative Conference”

BERI is an INTERREG IIIc funded project. The objective was to bring together those within the BERI network to share information and ideas on best practice in brownfield regeneration. The event attracted 200 delegates from across Europe. We were responsible for managing the plenary sessions held in the City Hall Belfast and also the syndicate sessions which were held in a number of satellite venues. In addition we had responsibility for elements such as the conference reception and entertainment in the Titanic Drawing Office as well as coordinating coaching and transport requirements for a series of site visits and a final lunch in the Waterfront Hall. Delegates gained the understanding they required and a post conference report with recommendations is in preparation.

"The conference was a huge success and was enjoyed by all of our partners and delegates from across Europe. Your organisation paid attention to every minute detail and excelled in ensuring the evening reception had a magical atmosphere that will live long in the memories of us, our partners and delegates."

Sabine Kalke,
 BERI Project Manager

"21st IACP European Executive Policing Conference"

This is an annual event held in a different country each year and was hosted in 2004 by PSNI.

We were responsible for all aspects of international marketing, web site development, on-line booking and accommodation booking and succeeded in attracting 250 delegates, plus partners and speakers etc. We had responsibility for all aspects of the planning, design and delivery of the event and worked closely with the IACP management group in Virginia to ensure the conference met their expectations and was the equal of any previous event. A key role included selling exhibition space to specialist international exhibitors (which was an important source of income) as well as liaising with speakers, designing and managing the social and partner programmes and so on.

"I am writing to thank you and your staff for the substantial contribution you made to our recent international conference. By anyone's assessment the event was a great success".

Sir Hugh Orde, Chief Constable PSNI.

ESEM Bio-mechanical Conference:

This was a four day long international conference which we managed on behalf of the European Society for Engineering and Medicine (ESEM).

In addition to all of the standard tasks we would undertake for a project of this type, we were also responsible for designing, editing, proofing and printing the conference proceedings which took the form of a special edition of one of the academic research journals relevant to the bio-medical/bio-mechanical nature of the conference.

We secured significant sponsorship for this event from organisations in both the public private sectors.  We had responsibility for marketing and selling space at the associated exhibition.

"Everything went according to plan, attention was paid to every last detail and all arrangements ran to time"

Craig Allen, DHSSPS

European Network for School Age Childcare:

This was a major international conference for 300 delegates.  The theme was "Peace to Play" and it examined the impact of political, sectarian and racist violence on children.  We secured speakers from NI, GB, ROI, USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and South Africa and had responsibility for managing their travel and accommodation arrangements.  We were also able to tap into a large and diverse network of voluntary and community based organisations throughout Europe.

"I would also highlight the excellent communications you engender between client and provider"

Colin Ashe,
Chief Executive, NIPF
